General Questions

How can I order?

There is very easy way and fast ordering process via our online portal shop.iceman.co.uk. You can choose your product or service, upload related files, make a payment and then check the order or job progress. If you can´t find required product or service in between shop items, simply request a quote for what you need. In some cases we can accept e-mail order or order in person at our workshop. We do not accept telephone orders.

Do you provide a design service?

We can create or help you to create a design for your prints or signs. There may be a charge for this service, but all depends on how difficult the job is and how much time it takes. If you need help with some small changes only (resize, crop or similar) which can be done on our end very quick we won´t charge you for that. But all depends on artwork and design.

Can I see or receive a proof before you start printing?

Standardly we do not provide print proofs. We do our best that your printing output is matching all your needs, requirements and quality. If any doubts about your job we will be immediately in touch with you. Anyway if you need a print proof, it can be done for an extra charge.

What files do you accept for printing and signage?

For printing we accept artwork files in following formats: jpg, jpeg, png, tiff, pdf prepress. For signs and vinyl cutting we require files in format eps, ai, cdr or editable pdf . All objects and text in files must be in curves/outlines. Colour scheme of bitmap and pdf outputs should be CMYK.

Can I print full page size without white bleed?

Yes you can. Our large format printing is bleed free, so you can enjoy a full size of print.

What are CMYK and RGB?

Printing any colours is done by mixing 4 basic colours – Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and blacK. When you are doing design the artwork might be done ind 3 colour mix mode called RGB – Red, Green and Blue. When printing the files created in RGB colour mode, the colour output is being transformed to CMYK (change in colour shade will happen), so please save all your artwork in CMYK to avoid problems with correct colour output. Please keep in mind that colours on your screen can be different from colours printed out.

Do you supply templates for prints?

There are some templates for certain products – f.e. Roll up banner stand. Please check if product has got Tab called attachments. There should be all related files with the product which are for download. If you require help with your artwork please contact us.

How long it takes to print or to make my signs?

Usually most of our printing and vinyl cut products we can provide same or next day. Some products require more time to make them so in that case you should count approx. 2 to 5 days. Every product has information about production time so you can plan ahead. Sometimes we need to provide maintenance of our technologies so production time is approx. 3 to 6 days.

How will be my order delivered?

If you ordered a delivery for your prints or signs it can be provided in London area by our team or within the UK or outside by parcel service as UPS, CityLink, DHL or other. Depends on content of you order. If you prefer or you have good experience with certain parcel company, you can let us know in order notes by checkout page and we do our best to try to sort it for you in this way.

Can you deliver on weekends or specific time?

Within the London area it is possible to arrange specific time and day incl. weekends or Bank holidays. Outside the London there are options of Saturday delivery, pre9 or pre12 on weekdays. Extra charge may apply for this services.

Can I change my delivery address after placing the order?

You can change your delivery address or type of delivery any time before is being dispatched or ready for dispatching. Please notice us as soon as possible. Extra payment may be required which depends on new delivery option and destination.

Is the packaging branded?

Usually yes, but can be blank on request or for an extra fee can be done with your branding (regular customers only). Please write down this request into the notes fields when making an order.

Do I need to pay VAT?

Unfortunately Yes. You have to pay VAT (Value added Tax) almost on every products (except groceries, take away or books). But there is some exception for registered charities which have an account open with us. After providing the charity details you can purchase products VAT free.

What payment methods do you use?

There are several payment options you can choose from on checkout page. You can pay for your printing and signs by credit/debit card, PayPal, Bank transfer or Cash. Unfortunately we do not accept cheques anymore. All payments have to be cleared in full before we start producing your ordered items.
